Inclusive Holiday Provision During July and August
Inclusive holiday support for children with Special Educational Needs
Structured Holiday Support for a Range of Needs
Our Inclusive Holiday Provision delivers professionally facilitated, structured holiday programmes designed to provide safe, engaging and purposeful experiences for children and young people.
We offer tiered provision to ensure that children can access the right level of support for their needs, from community-based group sessions to specialist sensory-led environments.
All sessions are delivered by trained staff within safe, well-managed settings

Tier 1 – Community Holiday Club
Mainstream & Lower-Level SEND – Larger Group Provision
This is a structured, community-style holiday club suitable for mainstream children and those with mild or lower-level SEND who are able to participate in a larger group environment
The focus is on:

Structured group activities
-
Creativity and practical projects
-
Teamwork and cooperation
-
Practical life-skills
-
Community-based experiences
This is inclusive provision but not specialist high-needs support

Designed for children who require smaller groups, predictable routines and sensory-aware facilitation.
This provision may suit children with:
-
Autism

Emotional regulation needs
-
Anxiety in larger environments
What to expect:
-
Low-arousal structured sessions

-
Independence-building tasks
Smaller group sizes and enhanced staff presence ensure safe and supported participation.

Higher-Needs / PMLD Sensory Sessions
Specialist, Shorter-Day Provision
This specialist tier is designed for children and young people with more complex needs, including PMLD.
Sessions include:
-
TACPAC-led movement and music
-
Structured sensory engagement
-
Calm, low-demand environments
-
Personalised support within fully accessible facilities
Sessions are delivered at The Selsey Centre due to accessibility features, including wheelchair access and Changing Places facilities
Personal Assistants (PAs) are required to attend with their child for this provision.
The Care Pod Pathways facilitates structured sensory sessions. Personal Assistants remain responsible for all personal care and medical needs during sessions.
Our Approach
Across all tiers, our holiday provision remains:
-
Professional – Delivered by trained staff
-
Structured – Planned sessions with clear focus
-
Wellbeing-led – Supporting regulation, confidence and positive engagement
-
Appropriately matched – Children placed in the most suitable tier for safety and success
We aim to create environments where children feel secure, included and able to participate at a level that works for them.
